Each month here at Tower Road we explore a different country that our residents choose to learn about. Since it is too difficult to go out to travel the World, we bring the World to our residents! As we slowly cover the world, June is Destination: Ireland! We had fun discovering Irish food (made by our cooking club), history, arts and crafts, stories and tall-tales during story time, jewelry crafting, learning a wee bit of the language, and Irish trivia.
Today will be the end of our week-long tradition of throwing a party (designed by our decorating committee) to culminate everything we have learned into one fun afternoon! Join us next month to see where our next Destination will be!
