This week’s virtual Road Trip had us visiting the Grand Canyon National Park. Residents had a blast painting rocks that will be used in our flower and Herb garden at the facility, as well as an educational presentation from the Activities Director who has visited the Park. A question/answer session was followed with many pictures passed around that were taken while she was at the park. Later in the week, we took a virtual tour of the park.
Along the way, we stopped by the Tower Of Power Casino in Fabulous Las Vegas for an afternoon of fun and frolicking with one of our residents dealing Poker while Activities hosted the Blackjack and Roulette tables. The Casino pit stop ended with a 5-star Italian style buffet. The Grand Canyon was a site to behold, and we enjoyed it to the fullest! Tune in July 13th to see where our next destination will take us!
